Alert Setup

To configure the printer’s interaction with ZebraNet Alert to be completely functional, SNMP

settings must be established in these areas:

• The printer, via the WebView interface.

• The Alert Printer Management Utility for logging SNMP traps.

The ZebraLink messaging system provides for more than SNMP notification. Alert can be

routed to various destinations:

•TCP

•UDP

•email

• serial port

• parallel port destinations

To view Alert Setup, complete these steps:

1. From the Printer Home Page, click Alert Setup.

The Alert Messaging System page opens:

2. To add an alert, click Add Alert Message.

3. Select accordingly.
