Maintenance for the Zebra Stripe S400 and S600 thermal transfer demand printers can

be divided into two basic categories:

• Preventive Maintenance procedures and operator care instructions. These

procedures may be performed by the operator as well as the service technician

and should be performed on a regular basis. Preventive maintenance consists of

a visual inspection and general cleaning of the interior and exterior of the printer,

as well as cleaning the printhead and the associated media and ribbon paths.

• Corrective Maintenance provides the service technician detailed steps for

resolving faults by adjusting or replacing components or modules.
