Remove the Outer Media Guide
1. Turn Off (O) the printer and disconnect the AC power cord.
2. Open the media side cover and remove all media and ribbon from the printer.
3.
See Figure 132 and Figure 133. Remove the thumb nut or screw, washer, and spring.
4. Lift the outer media guide out of the platen housing.

Caution • Wear protective eye wear when installing or removing E-rings, C-clips, snap
rings, springs, and mounting buttons. These are under tension and could fly off.
