A field installable option for Z4M permits changing printhead density and drive system
from 203 dpi to 300 dpi.
1. Refer to page 4-17. Remove the 203 dpi printhead, and install the 300 dpi printhead
supplied in the kit.

2. Refer to Figure 4-15. Remove the electronics side cover by removing the one or two
screws that secure the cover to the printer.
Caution • This installation must be performed by a qualified service technician.
Caution • Observe proper electrostatic safety precautions when handling any
static-sensitive components such as circuit boards and printheads.
